I was introduced to Louis and Logical Lifting by my friend Mags whilst we prepared to train for our first strong woman competition. I’m clumsy and I overthink everything. So, as well as being welcoming and friendly, Louis is very patient and methodical in his teaching. He spent time explaining the best approach to each event. He has a great knowledge of the human body and its ability. An expert of his craft.
After a successful competition and placing 2nd in my category, I can’t wait to train with him again to get stronger and see what I’m capable of.

I came to Louis when I was preparing for a strongwoman competition and wanted the chance to try out some of the equipment. He was excellent at explaining movements and the best way to approach various lifts, and is so encouraging along the way. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to learn more about strongman style training, and I'm looking forward to training with him again in the future.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Louis. I've only been working with him for 4 sessions so far but he has made me achieve far more than I ever thought I could do in such a short time frame. He's a great coach who knows exactly how to aid my rehabilitation after surgery.

I'm enjoying the strength + conditioning coaching with Louis and already have increased my lifts by taking on his feedback. The sessions are challenging but well tailored to ability. If he sees me coasting he puts the bar higher and if I'm struggling too much he lowers it. A quality coach at a bargain price

I have been training with Coach Lou for around 9 months. In that time, Lou's training has led me to win two StrongWoman competitions and honesty fall in love with strength sports. My strength has increased massively and every training session is enjoyable with Lou. He is vigilant on good form and his programming is a safe and effective way of meeting your goals. I've said this before. But I took my wife today, who's tried different gyms and still struggled with certain aspects of lifts. Louis, in just one training session managed to correct, with ease, what Sadie was finding so difficult. It's a testament to the attention he pays to you and the clear instructions he gives. He's supportive and encouraging and provides a great environment in which to train. It's going to make a huge difference to her great Manchester run at the end of the month, just what she was looking for. Thank you Louis.
Got to add that I continue to receive coaching from Louis (9/2017).its improved my quality of life greatly. Having serious health issues, there were things I never thought possible again. With Mr Whenlocks patient clear direction and encouragement, slowly but surely, I'm getting my life back. For anyone that wants something different to a '' normal '' gym experience, that works, this is it.

Louis is the ONLY person I would ever go to as a PT. He pushes me in the best way, but never too far. I'm slowly getting stronger and fitter, and I feel so much better for it. He makes working out enjoyable and I look forward to each and every session! I would recommend Louis to absolutely everyone, 100%.

I'm a keen cyclist, both road and mountain bike but a month ago, having lost my mojo, gained weight and lost bike fitness, i turned to Louis for some help. Through a fun(!) and structured series of 8 sessions aimed at my core and other areas beneficial for bike riding, i'm back on the bike, gaining substantial speed and distance and enjoying riding again.
I cant thank Louis enough for his knowledge and manner in training me off the couch and back on to the bike!
